Earl's Surprise or How I Fixed My Mini Horse Halter...
Earl's halter was rubbing his face. So it would be more comfortable for him, I fixed it with fur from an old sheep skin coat. We like to recycle.
Earl does not wear his halter all the time. I never turn him out to pasture in a halter. He comes when called, he knows his name. We do not give Earl treats either, just LOTs of LOVE! He does get a wee bit of grain every day we give daily wormer too.
The halter is Earl's second aniversery present from me. I wonder what he is making me...

What I Did Today In Vermont
This was a very nice morning. At first it looked like it would rain again. I went to check some berries and plants I like to harvest. Very few berries are ripe. It was a nice morning though.

Kiss Sweeter Than Wine OR Earl's Kiss
Just a little short shot of Earl giving a kiss. I had to go clean the video camera lens after!
He is such a sweet little guy!
My Perfect Pipe
Hand made pipe for tobacco, also a digging stick for wild food and herbs. A walking stick too! I have carried it for years. The trick of not burning out the pipe... is to only put a wee bit in... and do not smoke it all the way to the bottom.
